1. Semi-Trailer Preventative Maintenance and Service
DCI Fleet trailer preventative maintenance (PM) and service
DCI Fleet’s heavy trailer preventative maintenance (PM) inspection applies to van, box, curtain-side and refrigerated body semi-trailers; flatbeds, beverage trailers, tanker and other specialized industrial trailers. Our technicians will inspect your trailer from top-to-bottom and then provide the service required to keep your trailer in good working order. A solid PM program increases service life and helps ensure your fleet is compliant with DOT regulations regarding commercial vehicles.
Included in the inspection are structural components, including frame beams and cross members. Also checked will be lighting and wiring, hydraulics, and suspension, brakes and tires, along with power equipment like lift gates, compressors and refrigeration units. We’ll provide you with an issues list and an estimate for service. After any issues found during your trailer PM inspection are corrected we can provide a DOT inspection and sticker.
